Terms and Conditions

Abandonment: You have thirty (30) days from the date we collected your equipment or from the date you dropped off your equipment, otherwise we will treat your equipment as abandoned and dispose of it. RUWIRED will attempt to contact you before disposing of your equipment, HOWEVER, IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO CONTACT US TO COLLECT YOUR EQUIPMENT BEFORE IT IS DISPOSED OF. You agree to hold RUWIRED harmless for any damage or claim for the abandoned equipment. You are still required to pay any and all charges for services rendered. 

Estimates: RUWIRED LLC will provide an estimated completion time and costs for any requested service. RUWIRED provides no guarantees on estimates. For repairs, there may be an estimate fee, which will be applied towards repairs that are authorized by the customer.  Additional labor fees are applicable thereafter at normal rates. 

Impact of Upgrades: Please be advised that it is your responsibility to understand the impact of upgrades to equipment or environment. Such upgrades can lead to unexpected issues or incompatibilities. Unexpected issues or incompatibilities may not become apparent until a later date. You are responsible for contacting the manufacturer to research all potential issues before you request any upgrades and/or after an incompatibility is discovered.  RUWIRED reserves the right to charge for any services to address the above issue, even if RUWIRED sold the hardware or software.  

Liability: RUWIRED liability is limited only to any damage which is determined to be caused by RUWIRED’s negligent acts or negligent omissions. Our liability for repairs is limited to the total price of the repairs. By signing this form, you agree to release and hold harmless RUWIRED and/or its third-party service provider from and against any loss, liability, or damage, including without limitation, any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expense, costs, profits, lost savings or earnings or liability that you, the owner, or lessee may suffer arising out of, or related to, the services provided by RUWIRED. This includes but is not limited to data loss or lack of function in any component or element of your equipment, hardware, software or network, any changes or alterations to your residence or business (i.e. changes to walls, baseboards, floors, etc.) as a result of RUWIRED and/or its third-party service provider's agents, partners, and/or third-party service providers, regardless of the warranties, disclaimers, and waivers particular service and shall constitute liquidated damages and are a reasonable estimate of damages to you. Some states do not allow limitations or release of certain damages or liability, so the above limitation of liability and release may not apply to you. FORCE MAJEURE: If RUWIRED’s ability to render services is impaired by you or circumstances beyond the control of RUWIRED, RUWIRED may choose not to provide or to discontinue services. 

Limitation of Remedy: Under no circumstances shall RUWIRED, and/or any of its third-party service provider be liable to you or any other person for any damages, including without limitation any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, expenses costs, profits, lost savings or earnings, lost or corrupted data, or other liability arising out of or related to the services provided by RUWIRED and/or its third-party service provider or out of the installation, de-installation, use of, or inability to use your hardware, software, or the network as a result of the services provided. 

Loss of Data: Data is the most important part of a computer system because it is often irreplaceable. Due to the process of repairs, upgrades, virus and spyware removal, etc, data may get damaged or at worst, deleted. RUWIRED is not responsible for the loss of any data which may occur while performing work on your equipment. You are responsible for backing up your own data. You may request that RUWIRED back up your data for a fee; however, RUWIRED cannot guarantee such backups.  

Ownership: You must own the equipment that you bring in for repair(s). RUWIRED LLC will return the equipment only to its owner when the repair(s) are complete. You must own and demonstrate ownership of any software that is to be installed or re-installed on your computer by RUWIRED LLC by bringing in the original Software CDs and the appropriate keys and/or serial numbers. RUWIRED will not install any pirated / illegal copies of software. 

Parts Replacement: Any old or failed parts will be returned to you when you pick up your computer. It is your responsibility to properly dispose of such equipment. 

Privacy: RUWIRED will not browse through your data; however, we may inadvertently see data during the course of their work. Please remove any personal or private files you do not want others to see. RUWIRED will contact the proper authorities and report any suspicious or criminal information. 

Return Policy: Hardware maybe returned within 15 days, as long as the hardware is fully functional and that all of the packaging, CDs, boxes, etc is returned also. ALL SOFTWARE IS NON-REFUNDABLE. It is up to the customer to work with the manufacturer to get all failing products replaced or serviced.  A 15% restocking fee maybe applied to any and all returns.

Right to Refuse: In its sole discretion, RUWIRED LLC reserves the right to refuse work that it believes is beyond the scope of its ability or for other good cause.  

Scope of Work: RUWIRED will only perform the work agreed upon. You must authorize any additional work, which may carry additional charges.  

Warranty: RUWIRED offers a 15 day labor warranty for correcting issues caused by RUWIRED’s negligent acts or negligent omissions. RUWIRED cannot control or plan for all issues relating to use of hardware or software, as such it is up to you to work with the manufacturer or pay RUWIRED to perform corrective services to correct unforeseen technical issues. Any future services may be billed separately as new orders. In regards to computer repairs, malware (including but not limited to: viruses, Trojans, worms, spyware, adware, bots and other forms of malicious software) is not covered by any warranty as it is up to the customer to prevent such infestations because such infestations are a direct result of their use of the computer or their inability to adequately protect the computer. RUWIRED cannot control the use of the PC after a repair, upgrade or sale. Accepting any product (new, used and/or repaired) and/or signing the “Customer Satisfaction Form” states that you agree that the product or labor service provided fully meets your expectations and that you release RUWIRED from any further responsibilities.

YOUR USE OF RUWIRED LLC'S SERVICES CONFIRMS THAT YOU HAVE READ, UNDERSTAND, AND AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS / CONDITIONS LISTED ABOVE.
